Falling into the ashes

After her failed attempt to bring down the Masters at Vanderwyn Manor, Annabeth Cross is an international fugitive on the run all alone. She heads east and finds herself in Jerusalem evading her enemies at every turn, searching for lost manuscripts from the Artisan and previous Sentinels to help fix her ring. She fails to avoid her past and finds herself in the company of Gideon Alexander and Dr. Zachariah Benjamin once again. It’s the last thing Annabeth wants. She knows that anyone close to her will be in constant danger and above all, she doesn’t want to face the feelings she still holds for her Roman warrior despite his secretive past.
